The QXI series utilizes dual detection layers (QUAD pyro elements) operating with AND logic.

Double Conductive Shielding

Anti-Blocking Function
The QXI-DT model includes an anti-blocking feature that leverages the microwave module to detect attempts to mask or block the sensor.

For more demanding settings, the QXI-DT combine PIR and microwave technologies to confirm alarms.
These model include the OPTEX Tough microwave module, engineered to resist corrosion caused by condensation and humidity.

Adjustable Mounting Height and Detection Patterns
When mounted between 2.2 and 2.7 meters, the sensor creates a multi-level volumetric detection pattern, effectively ignoring small animals.
In areas with larger animals, the sensor can be mounted lower, between 0.8 and 1.2 meters, to establish a "pet alley."

Easy Installation and Maintenance
The screwless design makes it simple to open and close the detector using a flat-head screwdriver.
